One of the few residents in Mt. Palay-palay is Mr. Rey Medina. He is already living there for many years with his wife and children. Rey is not only there for his living but also for maintaining and cleaning the trails that are used by the hikers. It's their goal there to preserve the forest of Mt. Palay-palay.
